Method 1: Checking the internet connection status

  • Step : 1 First, check if the Internet connection is stable on your iPhone because a poor internet connection may also lead to an email issue.
  • Step : 2 If your iPhone is not connected to the Internet, reconnect it to your network and check if the Comcast email is working.

Method 2: Try accessing the Comcast email later

  • Step : 1 If the Comcast email server is down, then there are chances for these kinds of email issues. 
  • Step : 2 To check the email server status, open your computer browser and  go to the Xfinity login page.
  • Step : 3 Sign in to your email account. 
  • Step : 4 If you see an error 500 on the screen, it means that the Comcast server is down.

Method 3: Enabling the Third-Party Access Security 

On April 20, 2021, Comcast discontinued the Xfinity Connect app. So, if you’re accessing your Comcast email account using the Xfinity Connect app, then better try using Apple Mail or the Outlook app from your iPhone. Before you get into it, enable the Third-Party Access Security option on your Comcast account settings. 

  • Step : 1 Go to Xfinity Connect using your computer browser and login to your account.

Method 4: Update the iPhone
