FIX: EM CLIENT NOT SYNCING GMAIL

eM Client is an e-mail client that is designed for Windows and Mac users. This e-mail client comes with a wide variety of features such as calendars, tasks, contacts, notes, and chat. To use the latest features of eM Client, it should be up-to-date. However, there are some issues encountered by the users while using the latest version of eM Client. The users whoever using the latest version of eM Client, i.e., eM Client 8 have encountered a common error. The error is eM Client not syncing Gmail accounts.

  • Step : 1 Initially, check to make sure that your Windows or Mac computer is connected to a stable internet connection.
  • Step : 2 To check it, try to open a web page on your computer browser and visit a web page.
  • Step : 3 If the requested page opens successfully, then your internet connection is working properly.
  • Step : 4 Otherwise, fix your internet connection by contacting your ISP.
  • Step : 5 After resolving the internet connection issue, try to sync the Gmail account with the eM Client application.

Advanced methods

Method 1: Clear the error

    Usually, when something goes wrong, an error message will be displayed in the Log tab. Similarly, check whether any error message is displayed in the Log tab of eM Client. To do so, follow the below instructions.

  • Step : 1 Go to eM Client’s Menu section.
  • Step : 2 Click on the Operations menu.
  • Step : 3 Go to the Errors tab.

Method 2: Check the account settings

    Sometimes, the misconfigured port or security policy settings may also lead to the issue of eM Client not syncing with the Gmail account.

  • Step : 3 Select Other or Gmail.
  • Step : 4 Type your Gmail account’s credentials in the given fields and follow the on-screen instructions to add the account.
