Yahoo Mail Ssl Settings

When we send an email message, most of us first check whether the connection between the two ends is secure. Most email service providers use the TLS (Transport Layer Security) or SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol to provide a secure connection between two ends.

Yahoo! Mail is one of the most used and loved email service providers worldwide. In the beginning, it only supported the TLS protocol. Later, it started supporting SSL. So, now you can use either the TLS or SSL protocol on your Yahoo! account to send/receive emails.

However, when accessing your account with a web-based email client (or web browser), it is always best to use SSL.

This page shows you how to secure your Yahoo Mail SSL settings.
